Formatting text tips

Are you having trouble formatting your text? When you copy and paste from Microsoft Word, a lot of invisible formatting codes are inserted and can cause formatting problems.

Typical symptoms include being unable to change the formatting of some text, nothing happens when you use formatting options, or your content looks messy and doesn’t retain the original formatting.

Here are a few tips that may help:

1. Copy and paste the text into the text / content box, then remove the invisible formatting codes by highlighting your text then selecting the Clear formatting button.
2. Use the formatting options that exist within our text editor.
3. Inspect the source code or html and see if there are any added tags such as unnecessary line breaks, then delete them.

Please note that if you’d like to add images, you’ll need to first upload the image to a hosting service, then insert the link within the Insert/Edit Image option.
