Creating Updates
Updates are part blog post and part email newsletter. They’ll be posted on a hackathon’s Updates tab, and allow you to email all of your registrants at once.
It's a good idea to send out updates reminding people about announcements and office hours, giving tips on submitting, etc. Best practice is to send an update at two weeks, one week and two or three days out from the submission deadline.
