Enabling late submissions
If you are a participant and missed the deadline read this.
After your submission due date has passed there is a way to enable participants to enter or edit their submission past the due date. In your Submissions section under the Manage Hackathon area of your manager dashboard you will see a toggle to turn on Late submissions. However, be aware that this feature works differently depending on if your hackathon is online or in-person.
In-person hackathons - toggling on Late submissions will allow all participants to continue to submit and edit their projects like normal. It will be publicly visible that the hackathon is granting late submissions on your Overview page and My projects page.
Online hackathons - toggling on Late submissions will create a link for you to share with participants that need to edit or submit their project. This link will be the only way for a participant to submit a project after the submission due date and it will not be publicly available.
From the link you provide, anyone with a Devpost account will be directed to the My projects tab of your hackathon where they can register, create, edit and submit their projects like normal.
Remember: disable late submissions once everyone has submitted in order to avoid any rogue submissions moving onto judging.
