For your demo video to be viewable on your project page, you’ll need to first upload it to one of the following video-hosting platforms: YouTube, Vimeo, or Youku.
Keep in mind that each video-hosting platform has its own community guidelines and standards.

Once you’ve uploaded your video using one of the above platforms, be sure to enable the appropriate privacy settings in order for your demo video to be publicly visible. Then edit your project by copying the shareable URL and pasting it in the ‘Video demo link’ field:
If you’re submitting your project to a hackathon that requires a demo video, review the rules to make sure that it meets the requirement.
How do I create a demo video to upload?
One way is to record your screen and demo your application using one of the following options:
- Windows (Windows 10 has a built-in tool called Game Bar to help you record your screen)
- Mac (Using Screenshot in the QuickTime Player app, you can make a video recording of your computer screen)
Upon completing the recording, upload your demo video using one of the above video-hosting platforms and you’re all set!
